Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Blankenship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Logan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Don't Stop Believing. Blankenship has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blankenship shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Logan sprawls well. Logan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet.
Logan throws a right and a left that Blankenship avoids nicely.
Blankenship lands with a hook. Logan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Blankenship shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

so Blankenship counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frankie Logan.

and David counters with a head kick. That will keep Brody thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right followed by a crushing left from David knocks Brody out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
