Cartez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cartez looks for a takedown but Moto sprawls well.

Moto moves into the clinch.
Moto lands an uppercut.
Moto softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Moto lands a body shot.
Moto controlling the action here for a moment.
Moto lands with a light punch inside.

Moto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cartez clinches up with Moto and pushes him back against the cage.

Moto breaks the clinch.
Cartez tries a head kick but it misses.
Decent striking displayed by Cartez there.

Horrible takedown by Cartez or perhaps it was just good defense by Moto which made him look bad.
Quasi Moto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Cartez.
Cartez drops his hands for a split second and Moto immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Cartez face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Moto follows up with a right hand that knocks Cartez into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Quasi Moto!
In his post fight interview, Quasi Moto gave a big smile as he said 'RAPS: Smoking on the trees at one hundred degrees. Never touch the freeze, just the sticky green leaves.'.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before The Lights Come On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barry Washington had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Lener really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Locke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
