The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ba throws a series of punches but Genova moves out of range.
Ba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ba throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Genova lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ba's sensitive parts.
Genova swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ba.
Genova wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Melvin Ba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Genova is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Genova.

Genova postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ba badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Genova around the waist but Genova pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Genova is the winner by TKO! Genova jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
