The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marshland fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doopdy, pushing him back against the cage.
Marshland tries a body shot but Doopdy blocks it.
Doopdy looking for a takedown.

Marshland struggles to land a body shot inside as Doopdy controls his hands.
Marshland is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Doopdy is defending well for now.
Marshland gets underhooks to prevent Doopdy's takedown attempt.
Doopdy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marshland walks away with a smile on his face. Doopdy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Marshland uses his free foot to push down on Doopdy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doopdy.

Marshland softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Doopdy is out cold! Marshland jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Rich Marshland opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Medway utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jay Siuta wasn't active enough on the ground.
Medway takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Siuta throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Row hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
