The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renninger swats away the attempt to clinch by Payne.
Payne takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Renninger misses with a jab, cross combination.
Payne shoots for a double leg takedown but Renninger sprawls well. He's pushed Payne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Renninger lands a nice shot to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Renninger enables Payne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Renninger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rua works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Rua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crimson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stanly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reynolds pinned against the cage. Reynolds gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stanly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reynolds moves out of range of the body kick from Stanly.
Reynolds takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Reynolds throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stanly on the side of the head.

Futzchag lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
