Donizete closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dave quickly recovers to half guard.

Tamer feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Tamer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tamer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tamer has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Gracie is looking for a triangle here but Tamer uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chyn throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Takayuki's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Chyn dives in looking to finish as Takayuki flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Chyn's strikes! Chyn is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Takayuki's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Takayuki was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
