Candy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Candy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McDonald can pounce on him.

Candy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McDonald manages to avoid it.

Candy lands a left and a right that send McDonald crashing to the mat, dazed. Candy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Candy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Candy Throws a clean left jab. Candy Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with McDonald's chin! McDonald crumbles to the ground and Candy follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Candy!

Janjalani tries to land a front kick but Pirinen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pirinen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Janjalani has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Janjalani and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kovalov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.

Kovalov dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Kovalov's head and hops out.
Brown throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Brown swings for the body but Kovalov moves out of range.

Kovalov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Brown takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Brown drops his hands momentarily. Kovalov doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Brown staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Brown doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
