Sabota works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Commando is rocked!
Sabota swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Commando is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Commando closes the distance looking to clinch

and Sabota changes levels and lands a brilliant counter slam that knocks Commando senseless! The eyes are open but nobody's home! Sabota is victorious and celebrates with his fans in the crowd. Congratulations that man!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Villar lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Rua! More strikes land and this one is all over! Villar jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Araujo - the referee stops the clock and Cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Araujo. Cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cook jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rafael Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goryachev throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gracie.

It looks like Rafael Gracie has been cut.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Goryachev lands a lovely overhand right.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Goryachev counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goryachev tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goryachev to the ground. Goryachev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gracie walks straight into a right hand from Goryachev - that's dropped him! Goryachev jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gracie from any more punishment! Gracie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vladimir Goryachev!
