Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kennedy Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfonso Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels comes to the cage accompanied by Folsom Prison Blues cover by Everlast. Sosa has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Kennedy Michaels will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Canseco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Supermies swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rua closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rua is rocked!
Rua doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Rua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Russo steps in with a hook that catches Rua right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Russo follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rua looks absolutely devastated.

Spliffs has chosen Ice Cube - Smoke Some Weed as his entrance music. Rolen Spliffs told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Ortiz shoots in but Barnes avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Barnes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ortiz.
Barnes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ortiz's hands.
Barnes tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ortiz is able to avoid easily.
