Howard throws a sloppy head kick and Claus moves out of range easily.
Howard looks for the body kick but Claus saw that one coming.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Claus!
Howard tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Claus is able to avoid easily.
Howard goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Claus has Howard up against the cage in a clinch.
Claus wants to break the clinch but can't.
A short body shot lands from Claus as the two fighters clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Howard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
