The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigeshi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zuhelke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zuhelke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Zuhelke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nigeshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Nigeshi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zuhelke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zuhelke's back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Nguyen shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nguyen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nguyen is defended easily by Silva.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Nguyen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Nguyen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva throws a right hand that Nguyen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nguyen also avoids with ease.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luan Nguyen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nguyen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Nguyen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nguyen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Silva is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nguyen yanks on the arm and Silva is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nguyen.

Larinov cracks Bundy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bundy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Larinov finish him?

Bundy tries to keep at a distance but Larinov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Bundy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clinched against the cage, Larinov lands a big elbow that drops Bundy! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Bundy is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

McBorin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McBorin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
McBorin postures up in Washington's guard and throws a big left but Washington blocks it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McBorin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McBorin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
McBorin throwing strikes from guard but Washington blocks nicely.

Washington knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McBorin on the ground.

Washington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McBorin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
McBorin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McBorin cracks Washington with a solid left hand.
McBorin connects with a couple of short punches.
McBorin stands and throws Washington's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McBorin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Washington is rocked!

A big shot lands for McBorin! That's hurt Washington! Will he recover? McBorin fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
