Matthews content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Johnson has locked up a guillotine! Johnson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Matthews is holding on here and Johnson must be using up a lot of energy. Matthews has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Johnson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Igo. That did some damage!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thor Silva.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
