Nice uppercut there from OReilly.

It looks like Dok Halidai has been cut.
Halidai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
OReilly throws a left and a right that both miss
and Halidai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
OReilly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnny OReilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halidai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halidai fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt OReilly.
OReilly looks to land a combination but Halidai avoids it well.
OReilly throws a nice looking combination but Halidai bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! OReilly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Halidai - the referee stops the clock and OReilly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Halidai. OReilly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Halidai looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Halidai backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks OReilly's temple! It sends OReilly violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Halidai celebrates and the doctors try to help OReilly!

Dunham's entrance music is Omar Khairat - Alexandria . A fine choice. Yoritsune has chosen JAPAN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Muikkunen. Gattuso does a little dance to reset his feet.
Muikkunen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gattuso on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gattuso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Muikkunen avoids the body shot from Gattuso.
Gennaro Gattuso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muikkunen dives in and grabs Gattuso's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gattuso pushes down on Muikkunen's head and hops out.
Gattuso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muikkunen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice defenses there by Muikkunen.
Muikkunen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gattuso dives in and scores a takedown into Muikkunen's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Gattuso drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gattuso jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gattuso has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Muikkunen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gattuso is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Muikkunen pulls down on the head and he's put Gattuso to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nuuska Muikkunen!

Sak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sak lands a jab.
Lee cracks Sak with a good jab.
Sak keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sak can pounce on him.
Lee lands a really nice looking cross but Sak seems unphased.

It looks like Lo Hung Sak has been cut.
Lee walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sak.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sak connects with a solid leg kick.
Lee throws the left hand but Sak avoids the punch easily.
Ryan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee moves out of range of the leg kick from Sak.
Lee scores with a nice head shot.
Lee falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sak counters with an outside leg kick.

Lee thows a leg kick but Sak checks it
and Sak counters with a solid body kick.
Sak misses with a hook.

Sak cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sak has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lee to stand back up!

It looks like Ryan Lee has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Sak.
Lee connects with a single shot there.
Sak tries to work over Lee's front leg with a kick but Lee checks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sak misses with a wild body shot.
Sak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sak throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sak.
Lee gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sak throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Lee crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lo Hung Sak!
Lo Hung Sak is the new middleweight champion!
Lo Hung Sak bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
