The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chiappe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Doe sprawls well initially but Chiappe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chiappe works his way into side control.
Doe is not content to let Chiappe control the position.

Chiappe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Doe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
