Gordon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Salsa.
Gordon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gordon tries to clinch but Salsa moves out of range.
Salsa blocks a head kick by Gordon.
Salsa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Salsa misses with an uppercut
and Gordon counters with a low kick, right behind Salsa 's knee.
Gordon throws a jab but it's blocked by Salsa.
Gordon lands with a hook. Salsa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Gordon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Salsa. Salsa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
John Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A close round but Stuey Ungar will probably get the nod.

Ungar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Saari.
Ungar tries a head kick but it misses.
Ungar throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stuey Ungar seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Saari punishes Ungar's body with a nice straight punch.
Ungar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saari circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed right hand from Saari misses the target.
Saari uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ungar has time to react.
Saari looks to score with a jab to the body but Ungar is just out of range.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ungar in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Saari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saari avoids a kick to the body.
Saari connects with the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saari lands a nice looking body shot.
Ungar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ungar fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ungar missing with a left hand there. Saari was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ungar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ungar is breathing heavily.
Ungar throws a sloppy head kick and Saari moves out of range easily.
and Saari counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ungar! He's just covering up as Saari starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
