The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koletzki moves into the clinch successfully.
Diablo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koletzki walks away with a smile on his face. Diablo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Diablo has his takedown stuffed
and Koletzki counters with a left to the body.

Koletzki moves into the clinch successfully.
Diablo can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nico Diablo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diablo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Koletzki after a bit of a struggle.

Koletzki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Koletzki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Diablo passes into half guard.
Koletzki is looking to escape.
Diablo is pressing down on Koletzki's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koletzki is holding on for now.
Diablo passes to side control.
You can see the frustration on Koletzki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Diablo is working to tighten is grip on Koletzki's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Koletzki has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Diablo is really squeezing tight and eventually Koletzki passes out! Diablo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Davies throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Davies throws a left and a right that both miss
and Asdfgh counters with a three punch combo that has Davies backing up. Davies nods at Asdfgh to acknowledge the strikes.
Asdfgh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Davies. That did some damage!
Asdfgh slips a jab from Davies.
Asdfgh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Asdfgh punishes Davies's body with a nice straight punch.
Davies swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davies looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Asdfgh takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Asdfgh throws a series of strikes that have Davies backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Asdfgh.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Davies.
Asdfgh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Asdfgh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Asdfgh tries to bum rush Davies with a series of wild strikes but Davies uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Asdfgh is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Skrzypczak is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Taylor can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Sokoudjou drives through and clinches with Niewi against the cage.
Niewi is trying to pull guard but Sokoudjou turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Niewi misses with the head strike.
Sokoudjou misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Niewi.
Sokoudjou misses with an elbow strike.
Sokoudjou keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Niewi's efforts to push away.

Sokoudjou fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Niewi, pushing him back against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sokoudjou throws an elbow but misses.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sokoudjou is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Niewi is surviving well by controlling Sokoudjou's body position as best he can.

Niewi tries to pull guard but Sokoudjou forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sokoudjou shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Niewi eats them both and turns towards Sokoudjou to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sokoudjou moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Mark McHugh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McHugh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murosaki.
Murosaki cracks McHugh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Stanislavavicus gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Stanislavavicus tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Palawszewski is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Stanislavavicus buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Stanislavavicus!! Stanislavavicus is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Palawszewski throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Horrible takedown by Badonkadonk or perhaps it was just good defense by Powers which made him look bad.

Powers throws a sloppy head kick and Badonkadonk moves out of range easily.

Powers tries to buck Badonkadonk off but he can't manage it.
Badonkadonk cracks Powers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Badonkadonk pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
