Nice takedown defense from Voorhees. No joy for Hoki on that attempt.
Hoki dives in and grabs Voorhees's left leg, looking for a takedown. Voorhees pushes down on Hoki's head and hops out.

Voorhees leaves Hoki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hoki looks up at the clock. Bad move! Voorhees lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hoki. Voorhees pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom 6 drops his hands momentarily. Bear doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Boom 6 staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Boom 6 doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dux showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
