The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galloway fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Galloway looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown. Galloway tries to sprawl out of it but Jacobs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Galloway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jacobs dives in and grabs Galloway's left leg, looking for a takedown. Galloway pushes down on Jacobs's head and hops out.

Jacobs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Galloway to the mat! Galloway manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
