Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Daville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo stuffs the takedown attempt from Daville. Daville gets slowly back to his feet.

so Daville counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Daville is looking to advance position but Hanzo has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Hanzo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Daville defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hanzo.

Hanzo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Daville turns into him and now he's in Hanzo's guard.

Daville has gone for a leg lock! Hanzo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daville's guard.

Hanzo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hanzo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hanzo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Daville is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hanzo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chiba kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
