Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knox has chosen Something I Can Never Have as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jake Foster has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jake Foster seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Foster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Knox's guard.
Knox pulls Foster in close to his closed guard and prevents Foster from doing any damage or advancing position.
Foster wants to pass the guard but Knox is keeping the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calaway throws a jab when Howard was well out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Calaway 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A bone on bone clash there as Calaway blocks the leg kick.
Howard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Howard connects with a body shot.
Calaway blocks a jab.
Calaway takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Howard throws a shot from downtown. Calaway moves away and avoids it.
Howard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Howard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Calaway.
Calaway throws a lazy right hand but Howard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Calaway throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Howard sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Calaway throws out a powerful jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Howard blocks the leg kick.
Howard takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Calaway takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Harold Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard misses with a wild body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Howard.
Calaway looks gassed!
No joy there for Howard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Calaway throws an overhand right that lands on Howard's shoulder, as Howard tries to avoid the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Howard fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Calaway sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Howard tests Calaway's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Howard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Howard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Calaway is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Howard fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Calaway looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Howard connects with an inside leg kick.

Howard cracks Calaway with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Calaway looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Howard finish him?

Calaway is rocked!

It looks like Mark Calaway has been cut.
Howard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Howard drops Calaway with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Calaway! Howard dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
