The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kolistaja pinned against the ropes. Kolistaja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kolistaja clinches up with Hick and pushes him back against the ropes.

Hick pulls Kolistaja into guard.

Hick isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kolistaja stacks Hick on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kolistaja!
Hick gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Hick is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kolistaja pulls his head out easily.
Kolistaja is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Let's hope that Kolistaja has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
