Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Wiher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Wiher had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Toby Evans will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

He turns his back on Grigorev, trying to create some distance but Grigorev rushes him, striking wildly and Janatan goes down! The referee tackles Grigorev into the cage to end the fight! Grigorev is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Kramer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Colt Bragg!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bragg moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kramer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bragg moves away.
Kramer throws a big shot that misses.
A slow jab from Kramer misses its intended target.
Bragg blocks a head kick by Kramer.
Good shot there by Bragg.
Kramer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bragg throws an overhand right that lands on Kramer's shoulder, as Kramer tries to avoid the shot.
Bragg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bragg blocks a leg kick.
Bragg blocks a head kick by Kramer.

Bragg shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kramer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The strikes coming from Bragg are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

It looks like Bragg might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bragg laying and praying for a moment but Kramer takes advantage and regains half guard.
Kramer is trying to stand.
Well, if Bragg is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bragg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kramer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bragg content to control rather than advance.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Colt Bragg was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Kramer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bragg looks to score with a jab to the body but Kramer is just out of range.
Bragg cracks Kramer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Kramer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kramer is looking to wear down Bragg with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bragg tries to move into range but Kramer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That was a close round but I would say that John Kramer will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Colt Bragg's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kramer is trying to escape the position but Bragg is controlling the position.
Kramer is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bragg connects with a decent elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bragg is trying to ground and pound but Kramer uses the momentary lack of control by Bragg to regain half guard.

Kramer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

John Kramer showed his dominance in that final round.
