The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frazier tries to avoid it but Wallace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frazier to the ground. Frazier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frazier as he avoids it easily.

Kowalford shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nutt eats them both and turns towards Kowalford to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kowalford displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nutt.

Nutt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Utter grinds an elbow into Johnson's temple.
Utter looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Utter smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Johnson tries to bench press Utter off him but Utter keeps the position.

Johnson has hold of Utter's hands but Utter slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Utter winds up and cracks Johnson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Oh Johnson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Utter lands with a punch from half guard.
Utter lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Johnson quite badly. Johnson pulls Utter in close trying to recover. Utter postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Johnson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Johnson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Utter!
