The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Frazier tries to avoid it but Wallace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Frazier to the ground. Frazier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kowalford shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nutt eats them both and turns towards Kowalford to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Nutt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Newman finds it's target.
It looks like Aldo Amado has been cut.
Amado closes the distance but Newman moves to the side
and Newman counters with a slapping leg kick.
Newman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Amado tries to clinch but Newman moves out of range.
Newman cracks Amado with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Newman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Amado to stand back up!

Amado walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Newman! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Utter lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Johnson quite badly. Johnson pulls Utter in close trying to recover. Utter postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Johnson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Johnson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
