Davies throws out a loose jab but Garcia uses good head movement to avoid it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice Jr sizes up Morales with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Morales fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Morales takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Slice Jr feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Morales sprawling to the canvas! Morales rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Slice Jr finish him?!

Morales is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morales glances at the clock... BAM! Slice Jr nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Morales crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Morales is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sarkis Terteryan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Maka finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Palhares's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Maka falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
