The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bignog, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo Man scores with a leg kick.
Contreras throws a hook to the side of Doo Man 's head but Doo Man sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Contreras has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Doo Man .
A nice leg kick lands there from Doo Man .
Doo Man throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Contreras stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Doo Man catches Contreras with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Doo Man scores with a crisp jab that stopped Contreras in his tracks.
Contreras is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Contreras misses with a two punch combination.
Doo Man jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Contreras throws a lazy right hand but Doo Man sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doo Man uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Contreras.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Doo Man , as that shot connected.
Contreras rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Doo Man makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Doo Man scores with a jab to the jaw.
BOOM! Doo Man lands a beautiful left hook that drops Contreras. Contreras tries to recover but Doo Man is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Contreras lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira tries for a takedown but Pitbull sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pitbull tries to close the distance and clinch but Oliveira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pitbull scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pitbull scores with a couple of short elbows.
Pitbull wants to control but Oliveira is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pitbull tries for a kimura but Oliveira is defending well.
Oliveira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pitbull on the ground.
The ground and pound from Pitbull seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Oliveira can't do much from the bottom here.

Pitbull thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oliveira stops Pitbull from passing to mount.

Oliveira wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Pitbull works to advance to full mount. Oliveira defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Pitbull is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Oliveira is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Oliveira flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pitbull anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Oliveira and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pitbull slips an arm under Oliveira chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pitbull has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pitbull is squeezing on Oliveira like an anaconda would it's prey. Oliveira fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Clayton throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Clayton counters with a crisp one two that drops Silva! Clayton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Silva to his feet! Silva is in big trouble!

Silva is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Clayton finish him?
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Travon Clayton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Silva.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Clayton stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva looks gassed!
Clayton lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Silva crumples to the floor! Clayton milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Redmond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
No joy there for Redmond, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice jab there from Redmond.
Redmond throws a right and a left that Davis avoids nicely.
Redmond throws a body punch but Davis moves out of range.
Davis throws a predictable looking body shot

and Redmond counters with a big uppercut that knocks Davis off his feet! Redmond dives into side control looking to finish!

Davis is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Davis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Redmond wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh Davis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Redmond lands a strong strike to the head of Davis. That's dazed him! Redmond looking to finish here. Davis is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Redmond lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Redmond!
A relieved looking Nathan Redmond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
