The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labasan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown but Labasan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is icky thump. Matt Sliva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sliva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Sliva works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Sliva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sliva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
