The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuppett shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Laranja is looking for a sweep. Tuppett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Laranja is controlling an arm, preventing Tuppett from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

This one could be over very soon! Tuppett goes limp - he's gone! Laranja jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Cascara slips a jab and a cross from Mutch.
Cascara pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mutch back to the cage. Cascara follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fighters circling - Mutch throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd cheers as Cascara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mutch doesn't seem phased though.

Silva tries to get to his feet but Raveneye is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Silva is in need of a savior and steps in!

After the fight, Lion Takanori was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Chyn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boudreaux quickly recovers to half guard.
Boudreaux pushes Chyn off looking to stand but Chyn dives back in and keeps control.
Boudreaux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chyn on the ground.

Chyn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boudreaux kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryu Chyn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
