Akebono takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Benjamin Akebono has been cut.
Akebono looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Chavez throws a nice looking combination but Akebono bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chavez punishes Akebono's body with a nice straight punch.
Akebono is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chavez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chavez lands with a nice combination. Akebono backs away looking to recover.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Chavez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Akebono. Akebono tries to recover but Chavez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Akebono lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
