That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carnitine - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carnitine. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Carnitine has a takedown stuffed.
Carnitine takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carnitine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Justin Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Carnitine.
Carnitine throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.

Brown gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Carnitine drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Carnitine off! Carnitine jumps back into Brown's guard.

Carnitine quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Brown has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Carnitine celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mathias McGlover!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGlover scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McGlover works Liddell's body with a nice hook.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Liddell.
McGlover stuns Liddell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Liddell has closed the distance and engaged McGlover in a clinch.
McGlover jumps guard but Liddell stands there with McGlover around his waist. McGlover gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McGlover tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Liddell just stands there and leans against the cage.

Liddell has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but McGlover regains guard immediately.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
McGlover is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Liddell is controlling him.

Liddell drops back, looking for a kneebar! McGlover looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McGlover looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McGlover!

Liddell bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McGlover!
McGlover lands a really nice looking cross but Liddell seems unphased.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown but McGlover shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from McGlover. Those never looked like landing.
McGlover misses with a double jab.
McGlover throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Liddell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McGlover sprawls well initially but Liddell persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Liddell passes to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liddell is working to tighten is grip on McGlover's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McGlover has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Liddell is really squeezing tight and eventually McGlover passes out! Liddell breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
