The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSilka fails to land the takedown.
Mai moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
No joy there for Mai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and DeSilka counters with a takedown into side control.
Mai is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

DeSilka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DeSilka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DeSilka on the ground.

DeSilka is working to tighten is grip on Mai's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mai has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but DeSilka is really squeezing tight and eventually Mai passes out! DeSilka breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Renzo DeSilka decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hhhhh takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hhhhh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Estacado shoots in looking for a takedown but Hhhhh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Estacado's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Estacado closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hhhhh is trying to break the clinch but Estacado is controlling him.
Estacado jumps guard but Hhhhh stands there with Estacado around his waist. Estacado gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hhhhh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Estacado misses with a combination
and Hhhhh counters with a three punch combo that has Estacado backing up. Estacado nods at Hhhhh to acknowledge the strikes.
Estacado throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Estacado tries to clinch up but Hhhhh circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Estacado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hhhhh counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Estacado has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Viss leaves Vasil with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vasil closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Viss's guard.
Vasil trying to control the position from guard on top but Viss is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vasil is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cray Vasil just wasn't active enough.

Cray Vasil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vasil rushes Viss and presses him up against the cage.
Viss throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vasil blocks it with crossed arms.

Vasil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vasil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viss's waist but Viss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vasil off to one side.

Vasil throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Viss tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vasil is in Viss's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cray Vasil will probably get the nod.

Bermudez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'm Shipping Up To Boston. On his way into the cage it seems that Matt Bermudez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Matt Bermudez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
