Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Max Pain was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez dodges the punch combination from Pain.
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pain but Pain pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fernandez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pain avoids it really well and circles away.
Pain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fernandez circles away quickly and effectively.
Pain moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Alex Fernandez has been cut.
Fernandez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pain plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Fernandez to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Fernandez just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Waldez is looking to land body kicks.
Waldez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Waldez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Waldez is looking to clinch but Dundee is avoiding it.
Good leg kick by Waldez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Waldez throws a sloppy head kick and Dundee moves out of range easily.

Dundee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Waldez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dundee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Dundee cracks Waldez with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Dundee is chipping away with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Helpa around the waist but Helpa pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Helpa is the winner by TKO! Helpa jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Baishel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Riley was covering up waiting for the punch and Baishel finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Baishel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Riley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Baishel has Riley in his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Konrad Baishel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Baishel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
