Jaques scores with a head kick. Gomez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Jaques goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jaques could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters circle, before Jaques throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gomez's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Jaques lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Pierre Saint shoots for a double leg takedown but Segura sprawls well. He's pushed Pierre Saint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The ref is looking closely - Pierre Saint is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pierre Saint is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Lannister has instead reached around Brookins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lannister arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rig tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thai smiles and moves away.

Thai drives through and clinches with Rig against the cage.

Thai trying to stall but Rig improves his position.
Thai using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rig has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Thai tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Thai really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Muay Thai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barry Rig.

Thai throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rig blocks it with crossed arms.

Rig is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Thai defends it well.

Thai on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Thai tries to get out of the position.
Rig can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thai is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rig is looking to work his way around to Thai's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Rig is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thai can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
