Hedman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hedman has an Americana. Gonzalez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hedman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hedman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Torni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Torni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gein is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hardly flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hardly is out cold! Gein holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
