Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Logan McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel jabs at Taylor's body.
McDaniel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Taylor dives in and grabs McDaniel's left leg, looking for a takedown. McDaniel pushes down on Taylor's head and hops out.
Taylor looks gassed!
McDaniel tests Taylor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Taylor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Taylor misses with a straight left.
Taylor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McDaniel pinned against the cage. McDaniel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Taylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Good standup being displayed there by McDaniel as he connects with a hook.

Taylor is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McDaniel cracks Taylor on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Taylor falls backwards against the cage. McDaniel follows up with more strikes that drop Taylor to his knees. McDaniel keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Taylor! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdi shoots for a double leg takedown but Cormier sprawls well. He's pushed Abdi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Abdi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Cormier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cormier is looking to work some ground and pound but Abdi has wrist control.

Cormier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Abdi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cormier has managed to get both his arms back between Abdi's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cormier postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Abdi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Abdi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Stor Svin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Svin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Funktastic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bacon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gresham on the ground.
Bacon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gresham has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Gresham goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bacon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gresham but great work by Bacon.

Sloat Gresham comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gresham has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
