The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine misses with a two punch combination.
Machine rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Olsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machine lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Thor Olsen has been cut.
Machine scores with a shot to the body.
Olsen misses the shot to the body.
Olsen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Machine circles away.
Olsen misses with a hook.

Olsen instigates a clinch.
Machine working hard to break the clinch.
Machine wants to break free but Olsen has control.
Machine goes for a takedown attempt but Olsen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olsen tries to close the distance and clinch but Machine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Olsen looks for a takedown but Machine sprawls well.
Machine looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Olsen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machine looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Machine explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Olsen closes the distance and pushes Machine back into the cage.

Olsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Machine pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Olsen back to the cage. Machine follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Olsen looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Olsen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machine counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Machine throws a series of strikes that have Olsen backpedaling.
Machine works over Olsen's head and body with a nice combination.

That has opened up Thor Olsen's cut even more.
Machine jabs Olsen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Machine scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lazy left from Machine finds it's target.

Machine drops Olsen with a beautiful combination! Olsen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Machine is looking for the KO!

Olsen is rocked!

The cut above Thor Olsen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Olsen backs away from a small jab... but Machine lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Olsen crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Machine with a spectacular finish!

Cataneo lands a really nice looking cross but Ardem seems unphased.
Ardem looks up at the clock. Bad move! Cataneo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ardem. Cataneo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Hernan Cataneo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Cadwell feints a jab promting Iamsaard to slip. Cadwell then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Iamsaard slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cadwell feints and as Iamsaard raises his hands in defense, Cadwell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Iamsaard wants to stand and escape but Cadwell is having none of it.
Cadwell sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brian Cadwell wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Iamsaard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cadwell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Iamsaard tries to clinch there but Cadwell circles away.
Cadwell doesn't manage to clinch there - Iamsaard circles away.
Cadwell misses with a series of wild punches.
Ophas Iamsaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sloppy strikes from Iamsaard. Those never looked like landing.
Cadwell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Iamsaard sprawls well. Iamsaard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cadwell gets slowly back to his feet.
Iamsaard darts in trying to clinch

and Cadwell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Iamsaard won't be happy with that.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Cadwell advances to mount.

Cadwell is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Cadwell extends the arm and Iamsaard is forced to tap!

Piesci goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hammertown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hammertown misses with a series of wild punches.
Hammertown misses with a hook. Piesci ducked under it nicely.
Hammertown misses with a few strikes there.
Piesci connects with a body shot.
Hammertown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piesci fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hammertown looks to throw the jab but Piesci is out of range.
Piesci digs a good body shot into Hammertown's ribs.
Piesci sizes up Hammertown with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Piesci scores with a jab to the jaw.
A left lands for Piesci.

Hammertown is rocked!
Piesci scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Hammertown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammertown is breathing heavily.
Hammertown tests Piesci's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Piesci lands a nice hook to Hammertown's body. Hammertown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Piesci scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hammertown doesn't seem bothered though.
Hammertown seems to have got his legs back now.
Piesci works the jab nicely.

Piesci is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hammertown rather than just go for the knockout.

Hammertown walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hammertown limp body while Piesci jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Bull leaves his chin hanging out and Minasian seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bull crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Baron closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Baron lands in his opponent's guard.

Baron stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jackson throws out a loose jab but Baron uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jackson cracks a nice hook into Baron's ribs.

Baron gets a double leg takedown into Jackson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baron is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Baron tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.

Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Baron is aware though and is defending well.
Baron passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Baron is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Baron is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Baron is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Baron is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.
Baron looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baron is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Baron eventually gives up the hold.
