Powers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Powers counters with a head kick that drops Reyes to the mat! Reyes scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Powers lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Reyes crumples to the floor! Powers milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Lukasz Niewi struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niewi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kuan's waist but Kuan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Niewi off to one side.
Niewi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Niewi throws a sloppy head kick and Kuan moves out of range easily.
Kuan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kuan lands a leg kick that knocks Niewi off balance momentarily.
Kuan thumps Niewi with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kuan lands a big head kick that sends Niewi tumbling to the mat! Kuan takes a step backwards and waves Niewi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Lukasz Niewi has been cut.
Niewi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kuan can pounce on him.
Kuan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Niewi's sensitive parts.

A head kick by Kuan - that's a beauty! Niewi is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kuan can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
