The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cockburner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ruckus looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ruckus looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ruckus!

Cockburner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ruckus's head.

Cockburner has control of Ruckus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ruckus regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ruckus tries to lock up and control but Cockburner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cockburner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ruckus was covering up waiting for the punch and Cockburner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Harry Cockburner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cockburner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cockburner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cockburner stands and throws Ruckus's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Cockburner is working to tighten is grip on Ruckus's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ruckus has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cockburner is really squeezing tight and eventually Ruckus passes out! Cockburner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
