Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamikaze Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keni Farc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keni Farc struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Keni Farc will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kid fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Farc to the ground. Kid is now in Farc's guard.
Kid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kid is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kid drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Farc dives on top into guard.

Kid had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Farc defends it easily.

Kid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Farc is posturing up here but Kid has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Farc tries to roll out but it's too tight and Farc has to tap! Slick submission there by Kid!

Guy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Elder has managed to clinch.
Guy blocks an elbow strike from Elder.
Elder blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Elder gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Johnny Guy has been cut.
Elder lands an elbow inside.
Guy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Guy takes an elbow to the forehead.
Elder lands an elbow just above Guy 's eye.
Elder lands an elbow that stopped Guy in his tracks for a moment.

Guy is rocked!

Johnny Guy's cut is getting worse.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Elder just misses with a elbow thrown towards Guy's brow.
Oh Guy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clinched against the cage, Elder lands a big elbow that drops Guy! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Guy is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

McDanver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trenton but Trenton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cory McDanver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDanver misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

McDanver closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
McDanver has Trenton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Trenton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cory McDanver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trenton has had enough of the clinch but McDanver keeps him there for the moment.
Trenton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
McDanver has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Trenton after a bit of a struggle.
McDanver has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Trenton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McDanver fails to pull guard.
McDanver jumps guard but Trenton stands there with McDanver around his waist. McDanver gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McDanver changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trenton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Trenton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Trenton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Trenton cracks McDanver with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

enabling Trenton to counter with a crisp jab.
McDanver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trenton tries to avoid it but McDanver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trenton to the ground. Trenton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Trenton stuns McDanver with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

McDanver shoots in for a takedown but Trenton shows good takedown defense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McDanver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Trenton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McDanver has a takedown stuffed.
McDanver takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Trenton lands with an overhand left.
McDanver takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

McDanver tries to clinch but Trenton is having none of it.

McDanver seems to have got his legs back now.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McDanver. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Trenton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McDanver had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
