Alves misses with an uppercut. Brox saw that one coming.
Brox feints and then cracks Alves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alves down.
Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by Brox which made him look bad.
Alves throws an overhand right that lands on Brox's shoulder, as Brox tries to avoid the shot.
Brox tries to clinch but Alves is having none of it.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alves is looking to score with low kicks.
Brox scores with a punch to the head.

Alves dives in and grabs Brox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brox pushes down on Alves's head and hops out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Brox unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Alves wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Brox celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

After the fight, Randolf Brox was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
