The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davidson gets a double leg takedown into Unhinged's guard.

Unhinged looking for a guillotine here but Davidson defends easily.

Unhinged looking to sit in guard and control but Davidson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Davidson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davidson wants it to stay on the feet.

Unhinged shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davidson as he jumps to the side.
Unhinged moves in looking to clinch but Davidson pushes him off.
Davidson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Unhinged on the side of the head.

Davidson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Unhinged will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Davidson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Unhinged asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Unhinged wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davidson, who protects the arm well.

Unhinged has hold of Davidson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Davidson seems comfortable defending it but Unhinged has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Davidson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Davidson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Unhinged couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A looping hook to the body misses from Rosenberg. Fat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fat has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rosenberg.
Rosenberg connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fat's hands.
Rosenberg paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Barti Fat has been cut.

Oh Fat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Rosenberg has cracked Fat with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Rosenberg lands another huge swinging hook and Fat tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Fat, before Rosenberg can land any more shots!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tricolor Paulista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paulo SIlva!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SIlva shoots in looking for a takedown but Paulista manages to keep the fight standing, pushing SIlva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Paulista has a takedown stuffed.
SIlva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paulista tries to avoid it but SIlva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paulista to the ground. Paulista escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Paulo SIlva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
SIlva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paulista's waist but Paulista gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing SIlva off to one side.
Tricolor Paulista has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo SIlva.
SIlva misses with a takedown attempt - Paulista sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Paulista rolls with it to try and escape but SIlva cranks on the arm and Paulista is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
