The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jarvainian lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Anderson Silva has been cut.
Silva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jarvainian connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jarvainian avoids it really well and circles away.
A jab lands there for Jarvainian.

Jarvainian closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Jarvainian getting side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jarvainian is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva pushes Jarvainian off looking to stand but Jarvainian dives back in and keeps control.
Jarvainian winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva has hold of Jarvainian's hands but Jarvainian slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jarvainian working over Silva with some ground and pound. Silva looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Jarvainian finish him?
Jarvainian lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Silva! More strikes land and this one is all over! Jarvainian jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

and Riley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Steel thinking.
Steel shoots in and drives through. Riley sprawls well.
Riley changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Riley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
