The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sai shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Some wild striking there from Ortega.
Nice sprawl there from Ortega as Sai shoots in.
Ortega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ortega throws a head kick that Sai semi-blocks.

It looks like Vivek Sai has been cut.
Sai shoots for a double leg takedown but Ortega sprawls well. He's pushed Sai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Omar Ortega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vivek Sai.
Ortega tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sai was well out of range. Poor timing from Ortega.

Sai pushes off an throws an elbow but Ortega leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Sai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ortega defends it easily.

Ortega stuffs the takedown attempt from Sai. Sai gets slowly back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ortega circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sai drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Ortega follows Sai to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

It looks like Harley Hunter has been cut.

Magnus has managed to clinch.

Magnus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Magnus punishes Hunter's body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Magnus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Magnus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magnus off to one side.
Magnus misses with a takedown attempt - Hunter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harley Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kain Magnus.

Magnus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hunter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Magnus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hunter quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Magnus is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Magnus thows a huge punch but Hunter dodges it nicely.
Magnus works his foot free and advances to mount.
Magnus loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hunter scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Magnus land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Magnus stands and salutes the crowd.

Kain Magnus got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'

Crane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Karpov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crane scrambles back to his feet.
Karpov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Crane lands with a nice body punch.
Karpov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Karpov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Karpov throws a looping overhand right but Crane ducks down to avoid it.

and Crane counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Karpov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Crane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Karpov's head backwards.

Horrible takedown by Playstation or perhaps it was just good defense by Kharma which made him look bad.
Kharma swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Playstation.
Kharma throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Playstation tries for a takedown but Kharma circles away easily
and Kharma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kharma lands with a nice combination. Playstation backs away looking to recover.

Kharma closes the distance and clinches.
Kharma scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Playstation's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kharma digs a right hand into Playstation's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Playstation's gas tank.

Kharma drops Playstation onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Playstation is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Playstation is rocked!

It looks like Wii Playstation has been cut.
Playstation looks gassed!
Kharma dips a shoulder and cracks Playstation with a mighty uppercut! Playstation falls back against the cage and Kharma unloads with a barrage of strikes! Playstation is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kharma screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bad Kharma!

and Curtis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jakasashii feints and as Curtis raises his hands in defense, Jakasashii changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jakasashii is pushing down on Curtis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Curtis is fighting to maintain full guard but Jakasashii has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jakasashii is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jakasashii is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Curtis has managed to free his arm - good work.

Jakasashii is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Curtis to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Jakasashii drops back looking for a leg! Curtis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Curtis manages to kick Jakasashii off! Jakasashii jumps back into Curtis's guard.

Jakasashii thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jakasashii postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Curtis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jakasashii, into his guard.

Curtis drops back looking for a leg! Jakasashii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jakasashii manages to kick Curtis off! Curtis jumps back into Jakasashii's guard.

Curtis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jakasashii has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Curtis has managed to get both his arms back between Jakasashii's legs - danger averted.
Curtis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jakasashii swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Curtis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Curtis has his hands clasped together but Jakasashii extends an breaks Curtis's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jakasashii.
