A momentary lapse in concentration from Sapp enables Beast to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sapp manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Larry Carnitine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saulo Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carnitine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Doro Pesch and Udo Dirkschneider covering Breaking the Law. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Brandao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carnitine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carnitine lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carnitine connects with a nice short shot to Brandao's temple.
Brandao is refusing to be controlled, as Carnitine sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carnitine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Carnitine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Carnitine is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Brandao looks calm but he's in trouble here. Carnitine gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Brandao is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Carnitine lets go of the hold and Brandao can pop his arm back in it's socket.
