Makounchi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Field circles away quickly and effectively.

Field fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Makounchi avoids it really well and circles away.

and Field decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Makounchi's guard.

Makounchi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
