The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Prawn tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Blinov counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Von Prawn closes the distance and clinches up with Blinov, looking for a takedown. Von Prawn pushes Blinov against the cage but Blinov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blinov moves into the clinch successfully.

Von Prawn jumps into guard, dragging Blinov to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Von Prawn wants to control the position but Blinov says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Blinov throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Von Prawn to regain full guard.

Blinov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Von Prawn, pushing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Von Prawn tries to keep at a distance but Blinov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Von Prawn will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Blinov up against the cage.
Blinov jumps guard but Von Prawn stands there with Blinov around his waist. Blinov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Von Prawn wants to take the fight to the mat but Blinov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Blinov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Von Prawn tries to land a front kick but Blinov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Blinov explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Blinov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Von Prawn. That did some damage!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harrison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Harrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Harrison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thomas is defended easily by Harrison.
Thomas tries for a takedown but Harrison sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
