and Blinov counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Von Prawn closes the distance and clinches up with Blinov, looking for a takedown. Von Prawn pushes Blinov against the cage but Blinov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Harrison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Harrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Harrison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thomas is defended easily by Harrison.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abela looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reynolds stalks Abela and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Abela's face. Abela staggers backwards, shaken.
Reynolds throws a series of punches but Abela moves out of range.
Abela wants to clinch.
Reynolds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Abela circles away quickly and effectively.
Reynolds bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Reynolds misses with a series of wild punches.
Reynolds throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abela stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Abela clinches up against the cage.
Abela breaks the clinch.
Abela shoots in but Reynolds avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Abela dodges the punch combination from Reynolds.

Reynolds thuds a left hand into Abela's body.
Rick Reynolds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reynolds bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Abela's head backwards.
Reynolds throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rick Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abela tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Abela fails with the takedown.
Reynolds's corner calls for a 1-2. Reynolds obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Reynolds works over Abela's head and body with a nice combination.
Abela is breathing heavily.
