Popov is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Griffin flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Griffin is out cold! Popov holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McManus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McManus throws an ugly left hook that misses

Wickline lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Talha circles away quickly and effectively.
Wickline throws a right and a left that Talha avoids nicely.
Talha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wickline sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Talha somewhat.

Talha bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
