Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Haggen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tayson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Haggen is tightening it up a little... Tayson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tayson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tayson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Haggen!

Weed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johnson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Harbor paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Harbor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gutzs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheynauvah explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Nurminen loads up on a big right hand but Sheynauvah slips the punch.

Sheynauvah moves into the clinch successfully.
Nurminen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Sheynauvah breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nurminen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nurminen throws a hook but Sheynauvah blocks it.
Nurminen swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Nurminen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nurminen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sheynauvah fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rakastaja Nurminen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sheynauvah throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nurminen.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nurminen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nurminen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sheynauvah scores with a jab to the jaw.

Sheynauvah gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nurminen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sheynauvah has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Sheynauvah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sheynauvah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sheynauvah throws a jab but it's blocked by Nurminen.
Sheynauvah pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sheynauvah swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nurminen misses with a low kick.
Sheynauvah punishes Nurminen's body with a nice straight punch.
A punch combination from Nurminen misses.
Sheynauvah tries to clinch but Nurminen moves out of range.
Nurminen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Leonidas Sheynauvah has been cut.
Sheynauvah slips a jab from Nurminen.
Nurminen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nurminen misses with the body kick
and Sheynauvah counters with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurminen gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
