Oenomaus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Riviera can pounce on him.

Riviera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Oenomaus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Riviera throws a nice looking combination but Oenomaus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Carlos Riviera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oenomaus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Riviera sprawls well. Riviera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oenomaus gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riviera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oenomaus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riviera has managed to get both his arms back between Oenomaus's legs - danger averted.

Riviera manages to get his head free but now Oenomaus has transitioned to an armbar! Riviera grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Oenomaus! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
