The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mir's head.

It looks like Frank Mir has been cut.

and Mir counters with a single leg into guard. Hussain didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mir controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hussain wants to stand up but Mir is controlling him.

Hussain is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mir dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mir is working to tighten is grip on Hussain's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hussain has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mir is really squeezing tight and eventually Hussain passes out! Mir breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Nagal darts in trying to clinch
and Boon I counters with a one-two to the body.
Nagal tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Boon I counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nagal's knee momentarily.
Boon I lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boon I lands a nice shot that snaps Nagal's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nagal finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Nagal shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nagal takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boon I is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Nagal like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Nagal from another fist facial!

A very excited looking Bam Boon I rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cheechoo connects with a nice short shot to Frankenstein's temple.

Cheechoo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Frankenstein defend it? Cheechoo steps over the head and cranks it - Frankenstein is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cheechoo!

Jong feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Marley sprawling to the canvas! Marley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jong finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marley slips a straight right by Jong.
Kim Jong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley walks into a left hand.

Are you kidding me?! Jong ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Marley clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
