And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oswaldo Barra!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barra is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barra on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bronson really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Barra tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bronson swivels and escapes.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bronson wants to stand but Barra is controlling the position.

Verdmont Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oswaldo Barra.

Barra shoots for a takedown but Bronson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oswaldo Barra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barra throws a right and a left that both miss.
Verdmont Bronson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barra walks into a stiff left hand from Bronson.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barra has closed the distance and engaged Bronson in a clinch.

Bronson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
